The X50 line up of smartphones from Vivo had made its debut last month in China with the launch of two devices, the X50 and the X50 Pro. Vivo has now announced through a Twitter post that it is bringing the X50 and the X50 Pro smartphones to the Indian market on 16th July. The launch event will be held online at 12 PM. Since the X50 and X50 Pro are already out in the market, we know all of its specifications. Vivo X50 and X50 Pro expected price in India
The Vivo X50 starts at CNY 3,498 in China, which converts to around INR 35,000. Vivo, however, will launch the X50 at a lower price in the Indian market to keep the device competitive. So, expect it to cost around INR 25,000 to INR 30,000. As for the Vivo X50 Pro, it costs CNY 4,298 in China, which translates to around INR 42,000. Even this smartphone is expected to cost less in the Indian market. The Vivo X50 Pro is expected to come with a price tag of around INR 35,000 in the Indian market.
Vivo X50 and X50 Pro specifications
The Vivo X50 and the X50 Pro feature a 6.56-inch display with AMOLED technology, Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. Both the phones come powered by the mid-range, Snapdragon 765G SoC, and these devices are available in two memory configurations, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. On the software front, the X50 duo runs on the Android 10 OS. You get 32MP front cameras on both the device for capturing selfies.
Coming to the differences, the Vivo X50 has a quad-camera setup at the rear with 48MP main camera, 13MP 2x optical zoom camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. The Vivo X50 Pro, on the other hand, has a 48MP primary camera with gimbal OIS, which happens to be its standout feature. The gimbal OIS, as the name suggests, offers gimbal-like image stabilization. The phone also has an 8MP telephoto camera with a massive, 5x optical zoom, PDAF, and OIS. The other two cameras are the 13MP 2x optical zoom camera for portraits, an 8MP ultrawide camera. While the X50 packs a 4200mAh battery, the X50 Pro features a 4315mAh battery.
