OnePlus Buds Spotted in SGS Fimko Certification Listing, Expected to Launch Alongside OnePlus Nord on July 21

Back in May, we learned that OnePlus is working on a pair of truly wireless earphones and that they will launch in July, thanks to a leak from Max J. Last month, the same leakster revealed that these upcoming TWS earphones from the brand will be called the OnePlus Buds. A couple of days ago, Max J leaked the design renders of the OnePlus Buds, which showed that these TWS earphones have an in-ear design. But that is about it. We haven’t had any other information or confirmation regarding the OnePlus Buds so far.

Well, we now have some news regarding the OnePlus Buds. We have spotted the OnePlus Buds on SGS Fimko certification platform, confirming the existence of the product and also revealing a few specifications of these upcoming TWS earphones from the brand. Let us have a look.

OnePlus Buds (E501A) get SGS Fimko certification

The SGS Fimko certification that we are talking about states that it is for ‘Wireless Bluetooth Earphones’ from OnePlus bearing the model number E501A. Now, the only upcoming wireless earphones from OnePlus that we know of are the OnePlus Buds. So, the OnePlus E501A mentioned in the certification is most probably the OnePlus Buds.

Moreover, one of our sources at the industry has confirmed that the E501A is indeed the upcoming OnePlus Buds (as you can see in the image above). The SGS Fimko certification reveals that the OnePlus Buds have 5W charging (for the charging case). Unfortunately, the model number of the OnePlus Buds and the charging wattage of the earphones is all that the certification reveals.
