Both these tablets are expected to make their debut alongside the Galaxy Note20 series smartphones at the Unpacked event. However, the Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S7+ aren’t the only tablets from Samsung under the pipeline. The brand is also developing a more affordable tablet, the Galaxy Tab A7 2020. This upcoming tablet (with model number SM-T505) has been spotted on FCC and Bluetooth SIG certification platforms. Today, the Galaxy Tab A7 2020 has made it to Geekbench. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 2020 listed on Geekbench
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 2020, according to Geekbench, packs an octa-core Qualcomm processor with 1.8GHz base frequency. The motherboard of the tablet is listed as ‘Bengal,’ which, according to the reports online is the codename of an upcoming processor from Qualcomm. The Geekbench says that the tablet has 3GB of RAM, suggesting that the Galaxy Tab A7 2020 will be an affordable offering. Considering that the Bengal processor is mated to 3GB of RAM, it seems to be an entry-level or mid-range SoC at best. The listing also shows that the tablet runs on the Android 10 OS. The Galaxy Tab A7 2020 has achieved 315 points in the single-core test and 1,379 points in the multi-core test in Geekbench 5.2.0 benchmark.
Although there is no information regarding the launch date of the Tab A7 2020, the Unpacked event scheduled for August 5 would a perfect opportunity for the brand to unveil the tablet.
