Lenovo-owned Motorola had earlier launched the Moto G Stylus in the US markets and today it has been rebranded as the Moto G Pro for the European markets. There was no launch event for the device given the current pandemic situation and the company made the announcement via a blog post. The highlighting feature for the device is the presence of an integrated stylus.
Moto G Pro: Price and availability
The cost of the Moto G Pro happens to be EUR 329 (about Rs 27,000) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage option which happens to be the only variant of the device. The phone will be available in Germany, and other countries while the shipping of the device will begin from June. There is no word on whether the device will arrive in India.
Moto G Pro: Specifications
The Moto G Pro comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio screen and a punch-hole for housing the selfie shooter. The body of the phone is made from plastic and there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication purposes. Under the hood, the phone runs on the dated Snapdragon 665 SoC which was seen on devices last year. As mentioned earlier there is only one variant which is 4GB RAM + 128GB storage which is non-expandable. The phone is part of the Android One program and it will run a clean stock Android 10.
On the optics side of things, the phone has a 48MP primary sensor along with a 16MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a separate time-of-flight (ToF) sensor of an unknown resolution. Powering the entire setup happens to be a 4,000mAh cell with a 15W fast charging support. Connectivity options happen to be dual-SIM 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
