After teasing it for a brief period of time, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has finally unveiled the launch date of its upcoming Redmi Note 9 smartphone in India. For those unaware, we have already reportedly exclusively stated that the Redmi Note 9 would be launching in India in the third week of July and that has indeed been the case, as the company has now announced the launch date – the Redmi Note 9 will arrive in India on July 20, 2020. The company broke the news via its official social media handles. Notably, Manu Kumar Jain recently tweeted about the arrival of the Redmi Note 9 smartphone in India via a tweet, wherein he has mentioned the launch date. Though the tweet does not explicitly mention the name of the device, we can clearly spot “Redmi”, “Note”, and “9” in the picture, so it doesn’t require one to be an Indiana Jones-level expert to decode such a simple hint. Coming to the specifications of the device, if the Redmi Note 9 smartphone launching in India is the same as its global counterpart, it will feature a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution. The device comes with a centrally-aligned single punch-hole selfie camera, which is a 13MP unit. At the back, the Redmi Note 9 flaunts a quadruple rear camera setup, which consists of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 9 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 , which is coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Software-wise, the Redmi Note 9 boots the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with MIUI 11 skin baked on top of it. As far as biometrics are concerned, the Redmi Note 9 features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device can also be unlocked using its facial unlock mechanism.

Coming to the battery of the device, the Redmi Note 9 boasts a 5,000mAh battery, which has provision for up to 18W of fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. Connectivity features of the Redmi Note 9 include dual-SIM 4G support, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C port. The brand has finally taken the veil off its Tecno Spark 5 Pro smartphone in India. The Tecno Spark 5 Pro is a mid-range Android smartphone with a punch-hole display, a large 5,000mAh battery, a quadruple rear camera, and a MediaTek processor. The device will be sold in India via Amazon. Sadly enough, there is no scope for fast charging when it comes to the Tecno Spark 5 Pro.

टेक कंपनी गूगल ने हाल ही में घोषणा की कि असिस्टेंट अब वॉट्सऐप के साथ वीडियो और ऑडियो कॉल कर सकेगा। इसका मतलब यह भी है कि कोई भी आपके स्मार्टफोन की होम स्क्रीन से गूगल असिस्टेंट को ट्रिगर करके वॉट्सऐप और इसके कुछ ऑप्शन्स तक आसानी से पहुंच सकता है।
पहले भी असिस्टेंट द्वारा वॉयस कॉल लगाए जा सकते थे लेकिन इसमें यूजर को सिर्फ नेटवर्क कॉल लगाने की सुविधा मिलती थी। जबकि वीडियो कॉल केवल हैंगआउट या डुओ के माध्यम से ही किए जा सकते है।

इसके लिए फोन में होने चाहिए असिस्टेंट की सुविधा
यदि यूजर के एंड्रॉयड डिवाइस में गूगल असिस्टेंट ऐप है, तो आप सीधे 'ओके गूगल' या 'हे गूगल' बोलकर उस एक्टिवेट कर सकेंगे। हालांकि इसे फोन में मिलने वाले डेडिकेटेड बटन या होम बटन को लॉन्ग प्रेस करके भी असिस्टेंट को एक्टिव किया जा सकता है।

यह कमांड करना होगा इस्तेमाल
जब गूगल असिस्टेंट ओपन हो जाए तो 'मेक ए वॉट्सऐप कॉल टू (कॉन्टैक्ट-नेम)' या 'कॉल (कॉन्टैक्ट-नेम) ऑन वॉट्सऐप' दोनों में से किसी एक कमांड को इस्तेमाल करना होगा। वहीं वीडियो कॉल के लिए 'मेक ए वॉट्सऐप वीडियो कॉल टू (कॉन्टैक्ट-नेम)' कहना होगा। इस प्रोसेस को तेजी से करने के लिए यूजर का निक नेम भी जोड़ा जा सकता है, खासतौर से ऐसे यूजर के लिए जिन्हें सबसे ज्यादा बार कॉल करने की जरूरत पड़ती है।

गाड़ी के रजिस्ट्रेशन या फिटनेस के लिए अब देनी होगी Fastag की जानकारी, सरकार ने जारी किए निर्देश

सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ने गाड़ियों का रजिस्ट्रेशन करने या उनको फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट जारी करते समय गाड़ी में लगे फास्टैग की डीटेल लेने के निर्देश दिए हैं। मंत्रालय ने सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को कहा है कि वाहन पोर्टल के साथ राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक टोल कलेक्शन (NETC) को पूरी तरह जोड़ दिया गया है और यह 14 मई को API के साथ लाइव हुआ है। वीकल सिस्टम अब व्हीकल आइडेंटिफिकेशन नंबर (वीआईएन/वीआरएन) के जरिए फास्टैग पर सभी जानकारी हासिल कर रहा है।

देनी होगी फास्टैग की डीटेल
मंत्रालय ने नई गाड़ियों का रजिस्ट्रेशन करते समय और नेशनल परमिट के तहत चलने वाले वाहनों को फिटनेस सर्टिफिके जारी करते समय भी फास्टैग की डीटेल लेने के निर्देश दिए हैं। क्योंकि इससे यह पता लगाया जा सकेगा कि यह वाहन FASTag भुगतान के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक माध्यम का उपयोग करता है या नहीं।

बैंक खाते से नहीं जोड़ रहे थे फास्टैग
एम और एन क्लास की गाड़ियों को बेचते समय वाहनों में फास्टैग लगाना 2017 में अनिवार्य कर दिया गया था। लेकिन बैंक खाते के साथ जोड़ने या उन्हें सक्रिय किए जाने से नागरिक बच रहे थे जिसकी अब जांच की जाएगी।

कोरोना को कंट्रोल करने में मिलेगी मदद
मंत्रालय ने बयान जारी कर कहा है कि फास्टैग के उपयोग से टोल प्लाजा में कोरोना के प्रसार की संभावनाओं को कम करने में मदद मिलेगी।

क्या है फास्टैग?
यह एक रेडियो फ्रीक्वेंसी आइडेंटिफिकेशन टैग है जिसे वाहन के विंडशील्ड पर लगाया जाता है, ताकि गाड़ी जब टोल प्लाजा से गुजरे तो प्लाजा पर मौजूद सेंसर फास्टैग को रीड कर सके। वहां लगे उपकरण ऑटोमैटिक तरीके से टोल टैक्स की वसूली कर लेते हैं। इससे वाहन चालकों के समय की बचत होती है।

Possible Apple iPhone 12 Series Batteries Receive Multiple Certifications, New 20W Charger Appears on 3C

Amidst news about the possibility that Apple might stop bundling chargers with this year’s iPhone models, three new iPhone battery models have appeared on certification platforms UL Demko, Safety Korea, and 3C. Apart from these new batteries, we have also come across two new iPhone chargers on 3C. These include a new variant of the standard 5W charger and a brand new 20W charger – the latter with model number A2305. Now, if you happen to own an iPhone (or simply happen to be an Apple fanboy), you might probably be aware that the maximum charging speed supported by iPhones top out at 18W. Apple seems all set to bump that number to at least 20W with its iPhone 12 models when they launch the new devices in September 2020.

iPhone 12 series battery details

First things first, there are three new batteries headed for this year’s iPhone models with model numbers A2471, A2431, and A2466. From the images (embedded in the galleries below), we can deduce that the A2471 is a 2227mAh battery while the A2431 is a 2775 mAh battery and that the A2466 – the largest of the three – has a rated capacity of 3687mAh.

Thanks to previous leaks/rumors, we know that Apple could launch as many as four new iPhone 12 models this year. These include the iPhone 12 with a 5.4-inch display, iPhone 12 Max and iPhone 12 Pro with 6.1-inch screens, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display. Below is the combination that we might end up seeing as far as the batteries and iPhone models are concerned. You will note that the iPhone 12 Max and the iPhone 12 Pro could share the same battery (A2431).

What is pertinent to note here is the fact that the smaller models of the iPhone 12 have seen a slight reduction in the battery capacity. For example, last year’s iPhone 11 had a 3110mAh battery as opposed to the 2227 mAh battery for the iPhone 12. The iPhone 11 Pro came with a 3190mAh battery as opposed to the 2775mAh battery on the iPhone 12 Pro. The only ‘upgrade’ here is for the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s new 3687mAh battery, which is larger than the 3500mAh battery on the iPhone 11 Pro Max from last year.

Apart from the new battery models, we have also come across two new chargers for this year’s iPhone models. While one is a standard 5W charger with the model number A1443, the other is a new 20W charger with the model number  A2244. The latter will be a first for the iPhone because, until now, the fastest charging speeds supported by iPhone models topped at 18W. Take a look at the images below.

The device itself has not been certified yet, but this is a start nonetheless. Another important thing worth noticing is that previous reports surrounding the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G suggest that in India, Samsung will likely launch a 4G-only variant of the Samsung Galaxy A42. While this has not been confirmed, this is currently the word on the market. Coming to the specifications of the device, the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is said to feature 128GB internal storage. The device is tipped to come in gray, black, and white color options.
