सैमसंग अब भारत में बनाएगी अपनी सभी 18 स्मार्टवॉच, कंपनी ने लॉन्च की पहली मेड-इन-इंडिया गैलेक्सी वॉच एक्टिव 2 4G

साउथ कोरियाई टेक कंपनी सैमसंग ने गुरुवार को घोषणा की वे अब अपने पूरे स्मार्टवॉच पोर्टफोलियो को भारत में तैयार करेगी। साथ ही कंपनी ने अपने पहले मेड-इन-इंडिया स्मार्टवॉच गैलेक्सी वॉच एक्टिव 2 4G (एल्युमीनियम एडिशन) को भी लॉन्च किया, जिसकी कीमत 28490 रुपए है।
स्मार्ट वॉच तीन कलर ऑप्शन- क्लाउड सिल्वर, एक्वा ब्लैक और पिंक गोल्ड में आएगी और यह 11 जुलाई से रिटेल स्टोर्स और ऑनलाइन पोर्टल्स पर बिक्री के लिए उपलब्ध होगी। कंपनी ने बताया कि गैलेक्सी वॉच एक्टिव 2 4G खरीदने वाले ग्राहकों को 10 फीसदी कैशबैक और छह महीने के लिए नो-कॉस्ट ईएमआई ऑफर का लाभ उठा सकते हैं।

सैमसंग इंडिया के सीनियर वाइस प्रेसिडेंट मोहनदीप सिंह ने बताया कि- गैलेक्सी वॉच एक्टिव 2 4G का एल्युमीनियम एडिशन कंपनी की सबसे सस्ती 4G स्मार्टवॉच है। इसी के साथ हमने मेक फॉर इंडिया प्रोग्राम के हिस्से के रूप में भारत में अपनी 18 स्मार्टवॉच की पूरी रेंज की मैन्युफैक्चरिंग शुरू कर दी है। सैमसंग की 4G स्मार्टवॉच रेंज में अब नौ अलग-अलग कलर फिनिश, तीन साइज (42 मिमी, 44 मिमी और 46 मिमी) और दो यूनिक डिज़ाइन टेम्पलेट शामिल हैं।

गैलेक्सी वॉच एक्टिव 2 4G की फीचर्स

• वॉचटाइजन बेस्ड वियरेबल ओएस से लैस है साथ ही एंड्ऱॉयड 5.0 या उससे ऊपर समेत आईफोन 5 या आईओएस 9.0 या उससे ऊपर के डिवाइस के साथ कम्पैटिबल है।

सेहत की निगरानी के लिए खरीदी गई स्मार्टवॉच भी परेशानी का कारण बन सकती है। हाल ही में सुरक्षा शोधकर्ताओं ने बताया कि बुजुर्ग मरीजों की मदद के लिए इस्तेमाल की जाने वाली स्मार्टवॉच के सॉफ्टवेयर को आसानी से हैक कर उसका दुरुपयोग किया जा सकता है।
इसमें खासतौर से डिमेंशिया के मरीजों की घड़ियों को टार्गेट किया जा रहा है। इसमें हैकर जब चाहें तब अपने अनुसार मरीज को दवा लेने का रिमाइंडर भेज सकते हैं। शोधकर्ताओं ने चिंता जताते हुए कहा कि इससे ओवरडोज हो सकता है और मरीज की हालत और बिगड़ सकती है। हालांकि चीनी कंपनी को सूचना देने के बाद उन्होंने इस खामी को दूर कर दिया।

ब्रिटेन की सुरक्षा फर्म पेन टेस्ट पार्टनर्स ने की खामी की खोज
हालांकि, इस प्रकार की स्मार्ट वॉच से जुड़ने वाले ऐप के 10 मिलियन (यानी 1 करोड़) से अधिक डाउनलोड हैं। शोधकर्ताओं का कहना है कि यह जानने का कोई तरीका नहीं है कि इसमें सुधार किए जाने से पहले किसी और द्वारा इस खामी का इस्तेमाल तो नहीं किया गया। ब्रिटेन स्थित सुरक्षा फर्म पेन टेस्ट पार्टनर्स ने इस खामी का पता लगाया।

• टेक पिल्स नोटिफिकेशन एक देखभाल करने वाले व्यक्ति को दूर से रिमाइंडर भेजने की अनुमति देता है। शोधकर्ताओं ने बताया कि यह वही जगह है जहां गलती हुई है। एक बेसिक हैकिंग स्किल्स जानने वाला व्यक्ति भी दवा लेने का अलर्ट जितनी बार चाहें उतनी बार ट्रिगर कर सकता है। जबकि डिमेंशिया पीड़ित व्यक्ति यह याद नहीं रख सकता है कि वे पहले दवा ले चुका है या नहीं।

Redmi Note 9 India Launch Teased Officially, Here’re the Specifications and Features You Need to Know

Xiaomi is going to unveil its latest smartphone under the Redmi-series and it is presumably going to be called the Redmi Note 9. The Chinese smartphone giant has already launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max a couple of months back and it seemed inevitable that Note 9 would follow suit. In a teaser put out by the company on Twitter, Redmi is calling its upcoming smartphone as the “Undisputed Champion”. The link in the tweet takes you to the notify page for the device although the company has not revealed when the device will officially be announced. We had, however, exclusively revealed that the device is likely to launch in the third week of July.

Redmi Note 9: Expected specs and price

Since the Redmi Note 9 has been announced in various parts of the world, the specifications are not going to be a surprise. The phone will have a 6.53-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution and punch-hole camera like the rest of the Note 9 siblings. There will be Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front of the phone while the peak brightness the screen would reach is 450 nits.

Under the hood, we will find a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC powering the device and you will be getting two RAM and storage options which are 3GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. [Exclusive] OPPO Watch to Launch in India Alongside Reno 4 Pro

The first smartwatch from Oppo, the Oppo Watch, had made its debut back in March, in China. It hasn’t been launched in any other country so far. However, the Oppo Watch was recently certified through FCC, suggesting that that the smartwatch could make it to the global markets. The Oppo Watch even bagged a certification from BIS, which is an Indian agency, suggesting that the Oppo Watch could launch in India. However, there was no information regarding the launch date of the Oppo Watch for the Indian market. But now we do.

Oppo Watch India Launch Date

According to one of our sources in the industry, the Oppo Watch will launch in India alongside the Reno 4 Pro smartphone. The Oppo Reno 4 Pro, as you might know, is expected to launch in India in the 3rd week of July. So, expect to see the Oppo Watch in the Indian market in the next two weeks. With the specifications of the Oppo Watch already out in the market, all we need to know now is the pricing of the smartwatch.

Oppo Watch specifications

Since the Oppo Watch has already launched in China, we know all of its specifications. The smartwatch features a 1.91-inch AMOLED display with 402 x 476 pixels resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 SoC, and features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Unlike most non-Apple smartwatches in the market, which features the Android Wear OS, the Oppo Watch comes with a proprietary OS, dubbed, the ColorOS Watch OS.

The smartwatch has cellular connectivity (with e-SIM) for you to take calls on it (it has a speaker and microphone), 2.4GHz Wi-Fi b/g/n, and Bluetooth v4.2. In terms of health monitoring hardware, it packs a heart rate sensor with ECG monitoring. The Oppo Watch comes with a 430mAh battery and supports wireless charging. Other features of the Oppo Watch include 5ATM water resistance (for 46mm model), 3ATM water resistance (41mm model), and options to choose from stainless steel or aluminum frame.

Oppo Reno 4 Pro gets Geekbench certification

Coming to the Reno 4 Pro, we have now spotted it (CPH2109) on Geekbench. According to the Geekbench listing, the phone has an octa-core processor from Qualcomm with a base frequency of 1.8GHz. While the name of the processor isn’t mentioned in the listing, it does say that the phone has ‘Atoll’ motherboard. The ‘Atoll’ codename is related to the Snapdragon 720G chipset, which means that the Oppo Reno 4 Pro will have Snapdragon 720G SoC just like the earlier leaks had suggested.

The Geekbench listing of the Reno 4 Pro also reveals that that phone has 8GB of RAM and runs on the Android 10 OS. As for the benchmark score itself, Reno 4 Pro has scored 567 points in the single-core test and 1,759 points in the multi-core test in Geekbench 5.2.0.

यह फीचर गूगल मैप को पहले से बेहतर बनाएगा

बता दें कि इससे पहले तक ट्रैफिक और आपके आसपास के होटल-रेस्तरां की जानकारी देने वाले गूगल मैप में अब आपको चौराहों पर लगे ट्रैफिक सिग्नल्स भी नजर आएंगे। फिलहाल इस फीचर पर एक्सपेरीमेंट जारी है और जल्द ही यह फीचर रोल आउट किया जाएगा। इस फीचर के आने के बाद गूगल मैप पहले से बेहतर हो जाएगा।

एपल पिछले साल ही इस फीचर को जारी कर चुका है

ASUS ROG Phone 3, Lenovo Legion Gaming Smartphones with Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC Launching on July 22

Taiwanese giant Asus and Lenovo are going to be unveiling their respective gaming phones this year and the headlining feature is that both of them will be powered by the Snapdragon 865+ SoC. For Lenovo, the phone being announced is the Lenovo Legion smartphone which is going to be a first for the company under its Legion gaming brand. Asus will be launching the third-gen ROG Phone 3 for the mobile gaming audience. Both smartphones will be revealed on July 22 while only the ROG Phone 3 is launching in India on the same date.

Lenovo Legion Gaming smartphone: Expected specs

The Snapdragon 865+ SoC happens to be clocked at a maximum frequency of 3.1 GHz. It is said to be at least 10 percent more powerful than the Snapdragon 865 SoC. The phone is said to have a newly designed heat dissipation system which will include 14 temperature sensors. Other gaming-centric features include dual X-axis linear motors and on the display side of things, the device will bring you a 144Hz display with an FHD+ (2340 x 1080) resolution.

The Legion Gaming phone was also spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking platform as well where it had an overall score of 648,871. For comparison, the highest score in the smartphone world was held by the Nubia Red Magic 5G which had an overall tall of 633,724. The Legion Gaming phone was seen to have 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. We should see some more variants of the device as well.

Apart from these, other features on the device include a dual-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and a 16MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the phone will have a pop-out selfie camera with a 20MP resolution. While the battery capacity of the device is not known at the moment, the device will come with dual 45W (90W) support.

Asus ROG Phone 3: Expected specs and price

Like the Legion Gaming phone, the ROG Phone 3, which now has a landing page on Flipkart, will also pack in Snapdragon 865+ SoC. The device had been spotted on the Chinese certification website TENNA which has shed light on other key specifications of the device. The phone is said to have a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ 1,080×2,340 resolution. In terms of screen refresh rate, we should see a 120Hz screen although 144Hz is also a possibility. RAM variants on the device will range from 8GB to 16GB while storage of the phone will be from 128GB to 512GB.

In terms of optics, the device will have a triple-camera setup which will have a 64MP lens as the primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor. On the battery front, the phone will have a 6,000mAh cell with fast charging support. Android 10, dual-USB Type-C ports, shoulder buttons and more are expected on the phone alongside a new vapour cooling mechanism.
